The Group Coaching Structure

The Structure of the Group Coaching Programmes (6 and 12 weeks; and 1 year)

  • Coaching is a managed conversation between two people or a group of people.
  • The conversation’s ratio is you talk 75%, I talk 25%, more-less.
  • The session has a dynamic of a series of questions to you and answers from you. I do not give advice, share my own experience, dig into your past or teach you extensive content. I purely listen to your answers, I pick up key words, I identify habits, beliefs, patterns and I give observations that can direct you towards reaching your goal.
  • Since I am NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) trained, a qualified psychologist as well as highly trained in esotery and coaching, I often apply methodologies and strategies to observe, filter and perceive information through all my senses, including my intuition. I use perceptual positioning and re-imprinting, detect involuntary signals, follow your logical level and spot linguistic presuppositions.

  • The Timeline:
    • 0-10 minutes: Each session starts with a follow up on the previous homework, review previous actions and reconfirm the approach and topic in question.
    • 40-80 minutes:
      • We then dive into the subject of the day and explore in detail the topic.
      • A designed tool(s) for the session is introduced followed by a number of meaningful and thought-provoking questions, answers and discussions with Coach Ilona and your fellow decision-makers.
      • Each participant is coached by Coach Ilona in front of the other attendees. About 10 minutes is spent on individual attention at this stage. The uniqueness of the 1:1 coaching is that once we discover the “why”, we deep dive into the “who”, which is your deepest and most of the time, subconscious level: thoughts, feelings, desires, dreams, purposes and fears.
      • On certain occasions the floor is opened up for participants to coach each other or to bring awareness to each other.
      • During this deep diving part you may have an eye opening realisation which makes coaching special, personalised, powerful and unique.
    • 20-30 minutes: It is spent on action plan creation, accountability formation and clarification from the session.
    • Throughout the session all participants can listen to each others’ processes, answers, challenges, ideas, fears, opportunities and stories. By listening to other coaches you realise you are not alone on your journey, you can open up your horizon to new possibilities and you can mastermind with each other.
    • Straight after the session you will receive your homework that needs to be done to gain further clarity and to reach your desired outcome. It is up to you whether you complete the homework or not. No obligation, however it greatly helps you to stay accountable and connected after the session.
    • The given timeframe on each session is usually not enough to complete the brainstorming on the spot. Most of the introduced tools are useful for further work in between sessions or can be used for long term planning. By listening to each other you may also have new ideas you want to include into your own business.
  • The session length is 90 minutes in the 6 weeks and 120 minutes in the 12 weeks programme. The yearly programme runs 12 x 6 x 90 minutes.
  • The 6 weeks programme goes deeper and deeper into the subject each week.
  • The 12 weeks programme covers a wider range of topics and therefore more time is allocated. Topics however, may not be deeply discussed. In reflection to that, participants may opt in to attend the 6 weeks programme if further discovery is desired in a specific area.
  • The 1 year Master your Business programme includes all 12 topics in a deep and meaningful manner.
  • 80% of attendance for the registered programme is recommended to keep in track. If a session is missed, you may receive the tools and discussions from the session, additionally to the homework.
  • Sessions are conducted via Zoom.
  • It takes a huge amount of courage to open up and talk about our deepest thoughts and feelings in front of strangers. All sorts of emotions can erupt onto the surface. Therefore, it is recommended to keep to an unwritten agreement that all subjects and sessions are confidential.
  • Since decision-makers attend from all over the world, please respect each other’s views, beliefs and approaches. You may be denied entry if you are breaking the group rules.
